Mira is a board certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and holds a license in acupuncture by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board and the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. She studied at the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California, where she obtained a master of science in acupuncture and Oriental medicine (MSAOM) in 2010.

Prior to her pursuits in holistic healing, Mira received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. She has practiced acupuncture and Chinese herbalism in private and community clinics in both the Raleigh-Durham and Boston areas. She strongly believes that any condition can be helped through acupuncture and a natural approach.

Mira has treated a wide range of conditions and specializes in autoimmune disorders, headaches/migraines, injuries, digestion, and mental health including anxiety, depression, mood, sleep and addiction issues. In her free time she enjoys gardening, being in nature, creating epic cheese plates, and spending time with her fiancé and their orange tabby cat.
